This workgroup was created in 2004 by the
Methods and Data Comparability Board (MDCB)
of the National Water Quality Monitoring Council (NWQMC) to compile a list of all data elements that are essential for delivery of reliable, fully documented monitoring data that are comparable among all agencies.
Aquatic Sensors Workgroup (ASW)
This workgroup was part of the MDCB efforts to support work with water quality sensors. Dr. Katznelson led the efforts to generate the Sensors QA Matrix, the Sensors Data Quality Management Functions Timeline, and the Sensors Data Elements.
